 Gweledigaeth

 

Nod a gweledigaeth ein hysgol yw darparu amgylchedd hapus a gofalgar lle mae pawb yn cael eu hadnabod yn unigolion ac yn derbyn cefnogaeth i gyrraedd eu potensial llawn mewn awyrgylch agored a chydweithredol.

 

Trwy ddisgwyliadau uchel a chyfleoedd eang, rydym yn ymdrechu i greu dysgwyr gydol oes hyderus y mae ganddynt y sgiliau a’r wybodaeth angenrheidiol i ddatblygu’n aelodau gwerthfawr o gymdeithas.

 

Nod ac Amcanion

Nod yr ysgol yw creu awyrgylch hapus a diogel;

 

  • Lle y caiff pob plentyn ei barchu a’i gydnabod fel unigolyn.

  • Lle y caiff pob plentyn gyfle cyfartal, heb wahaniaethu ar sail rhyw, hil na chrefydd.

  • Lle y caiff pob plentyn feithrin meddyliau ymchwilgar a bywiog drwy awyrgylch sy’n ennyn diddordeb a chwilfrydedd.

  • Lle y darperir datblygiad cyflawn y plentyn yn academaidd, yn emosiynol, yn ddiwylliannol, yn gorfforol, yn ysbrydol ac yn foesol.

  • Lle y gall pob plentyn fwynhau awyrgylch Gymraeg a Chymreig a lle y disgwylir i bob plentyn ddod yn gwbl ddwyieithog.

  • Lle y datblygir hunan-hyder, hunan-ddelwedd ac ymagwedd bositif a chariad at ddysgu a fydd yn aros gyda’r plentyn am byth.

     

    Ein nod yw darparu cwricwlwm sy’n:-

Vision

 

Our school's aim and vision is to provide a happy and caring environment where everyone is recognised as an individual and is supported to fulfil his/her potential in a transparent and co-operative atmosphere.

 

Through high expectations and a broad range of opportunities, we endeavour to create life-long, confident learners who possess the skills and knowledge necessary to develop into valuable members of society.

 

Aims and Objectives

 

The aim of the school is to create a happy and secure atmosphere where

 

  • Each child is respected and acknowledged as an individual.

  • Each child enjoys equal opportunities and is not discriminated against on the basis of sex, race or religion.

  • Each child can develop enquiring and lively minds in an environment that stimulates interest and curiosity.

  • Provision is made for the total emotional, cultural, physical, spiritual and moral development of the children.

  • Each child can enjoy a Welsh and Welsh speaking environment where each child is expected to become fully bilingual.

  • Self-confidence, self-esteem and a positive attitude to, and love of learning is promoted which will remain with them all through their lives.

     

    We aim to provide a curriculum which:

     

  • Includes a wide variety of activities which will assist in the personal, social and cultural development of the children.

  • Nurtures the children's creativity, imagination and thinking skills.

  • Promotes independence, assessment for learning and emotional intelligence.

  • Goes beyond the classroom walls.

  • Develops basic concepts, skills and attitude towards work.

  • Offers high quality teaching and learning methods which will help the pupils to develop the ability to question and discuss in a logical manner, to solve real life problems and to work independently.
